ABOUT
The Chelsea St Pete offers a welcoming space to meet up with friends, family, and colleagues over coffee, tea, sandwiches and baked goodies. Come wind down your day or start your night at our happy hour with mimosas, wine, beer, and hard seltzers. Dog and Bicycle friendly! Besides creating a comfortable safe space to gather, it is important to us to be Eco-friendly, from recycling to the vendors we partner with and the packaging we use. Our disposable cold cups, hot cups, lids, cutlery, to-go boxes, and straws are plant based and biodegradable. See more below under Sustainability. We comply with all CDC guidelines and best practices to provide a safe and healthy environment, including offering take away and outdoor seating for you to enjoy. |

Sustainability
We proudly serve Batdorf & Bronson® coffee, who was the first 100% green-powered coffee roaster in the United States and lays out their sustainability plan on their website. Batdorf & Bronson® uses plant based plastics for lining in their branded hot cups and lids.
When ever possible we use Eco-friendly packaging. Here are a few of our favorites:
When ever possible we use Eco-friendly packaging. Here are a few of our favorites:
- Compostable, Eco-friendly cold cups from Responsible Products. Made from renewable plant material (absolutely no traditional plastic), these biodegradable clear cups are compostable, durable, and soak proof.
- To-go boxes come from Harvest Pack and are made using plant fiber, which is the leftover pulp that comes from the production of sugar.
- GreenWorks provides BPA free utensils made from plant starch and food-grade polymers, which are renewable and sustainable.
- Straws from Agave Straw Co. are 100% biodegradable and made from agave byproduct of the Mexican tequila making process.
About the Owners
The Chelsea St Pete is owned and operated by St. Petersburg native Teresa Vidal Chalkley. Previously, Teresa created, co-owned and managed two innovative boutiques in St. Petersburg.
Teresa's husband and partner hails from England, bringing the flavor of what he calls the 'original' Chelsea in London. When not working overseas as a security risk manager, Jamie can be found at his favorite hang out, the Chelsea St Pete. |
