Sustainability
The Chelsea St Pete is committed to using sustainable products and partnering with eco-conscious and local vendors
We proudly serve Dancing Goats® Coffee, a coffee company who was the first 100% green-powered coffee roaster in the United States. Like us, they prioritize sustainability and community. At the Chelsea, we also use Dancing Goats® hot cups and lids, which have a plant based plastic linings. And all of their products get shipped to us via carbon neutral shipments.
After we're done with our coffee grounds, they are collected by The Edible Peace Patch Project to be composted locally and used in their hands-on educational gardens. Their mission is to introduce children in low-income families to the joys and the benefits of gardening to help combat food accessibility issues.
When ever possible we use Eco-friendly packaging. Here are a few of our favorites we use or used in the past.

When ever possible we use Eco-friendly packaging. Here are a few of our favorites we use or used in the past.
- Compostable, Eco-friendly cold cups from Responsible Products. Made from renewable plant material, these biodegradable clear cups are compostable, durable, and soak proof.
- To-go boxes from Harvest Pack and are made using plant fiber, which is the leftover pulp that comes from the production of sugar.
- GreenWorks provides BPA free utensils made from plant starch and food-grade polymers, which are renewable and sustainable.
- Straws from Agave Straw Co. are 100% biodegradable and made from the agave byproduct of the Mexican tequila making process. And as an added bonus, they don't melt in your mouth!
